Work With Me
You’re thinking about writing a TV pilot, or you’ve already started. You have lots and lots of ideas. And some of them are definitely great! But some you’re not sure about. Or maybe you ARE sure, but you’re not sure you’re sure. You just want a completed script.
I can help you get there. Whether you’re staring at a blank page, stuck in a story cul de sac, or polishing a draft for a fellowship, I’m here to help you find the best version of your story.
With over two decades of industry experience, I focus on world-building, character depth, and the specific mechanics of comedy, craft, and story. Let’s get your project ready for people who can help you to read it (whoever they may be!).
Here’s a list of the services I offer. If you need help figuring out whether any of this is right for your specific situation, email me, and I’ll give you an honest answer.

The Pilot Development Lab
From "Good Idea" to "Finished Draft" in five sessions. Rate: $1,300
The ultimate goal is a view like this one
Think of me as your Creative Producer. Over the course of four one-hour one-on-one sessions, we will build your pilot from the ground up—nailing down the world, tone, character dynamics, and story. Once you’ve written the draft, we’ll meet for a final 90-minute "Notes Session" to polish it to a shine.
Perfect for: Writing an original pilot, or even a spec script for fellowships and contests (some still want specs!).
One-on-One Coaching & Consults
Specific help exactly when you need it.
The "Blue Sky Session" (No Prep) — $199 An hour-long, wide-ranging conversation. No reading required—just 60 minutes of my undivided attention. We can break a story block, polish a logline, or talk career strategy and industry navigation.
The "Focus Session" (With Prep) — $299 Send over up to 10 pages (outline, treatment, or script pages) in advance. I’ll read it ahead of time so we can hit the ground running. We’ll spend an hour digging into the specifics of tone, structure, and your next steps.
Frequently Asked Questions
· Who is this for?
· I work with everyone from first-timers to seasoned pros who need a fresh set of eyes (everybody needs fresh eyes!). Whether you’re writing a half-hour comedy, a gritty hour-long drama, or a spec for a fellowship, my goal is to help you sharpen your unique voice, not replace it with mine.
· What exactly do I get in the "Written Notes"?
· This isn’t just “coverage,” where you end up with a “Pass/Consider.” I’m a writer too, and I love getting into it. You’ll get a deep dive into the mechanics of your script. This includes "Macro" notes (concept, pacing, and structure) and "Micro" notes (dialogue tweaks, joke punch-ups, and character beats).
· Do you sign NDAs?
· Absolutely. Your intellectual property is yours. While the industry standard is that "ideas" are often similar, your specific execution is your own. If you have a standard NDA you’d like me to sign before sending your script, I’m happy to review it.
· Is the "Pilot Development Lab" only for comedies?
· Not at all. While my background is rooted in comedy and character-driven stories, the rules of "good story" are universal. We will focus on the foundational elements: the "Why now?", the engine of the show, and the stakes that keep an audience coming back.
· Can you help me get an agent or manager?
· I am a creative consultant, not a manager or an agent. I cannot guarantee representation or "shop" your script to my contacts. However, I can help you get your script to a level of professional polish that makes agents and managers much more likely to take you seriously.
· What happens if I need more time during our call?
· I try to be generous with my time, but to stay fair to all my clients, we stick to the scheduled window. If we’re mid-breakthrough and you want to keep going, we can always schedule a follow-up "Jam Session" at the discounted no-prep rate.
· What software do you use for transcripts and outlines?
· I use AI-assisted tools to provide you with a full transcript and a summarized outline of our session. This allows you to stay fully present and creative during our talk instead of scribbling notes the whole time. You’ll have a searchable record of every "Aha!" moment we had.
P.S. Loved our session and finished your rewrite? Clients who have done a Full Consultation get 20% off a follow-up read of the new draft."
Ready to get to work?
To get started, please send me an email with the subject line "Consultation Inquiry: [Your Project Title]." In your message, let me know which service you’re interested in—whether it’s the Full Script Consultation, the Pilot Development Lab , or a one-on-one "Focus" or "Blue Sky" session. Please include the project’s title, format (e.g., half-hour sitcom pilot, sitcom spec, hour drama pilot) and genre.
It’s also incredibly helpful if you can tell me where you are in the process—whether you have a finished draft, a stuck outline, or are just starting from scratch—and give me a quick 2–3 sentence "elevator pitch" so I can get a feel for your protagonist and the hook.
To help me hit the ground running, please also share your primary goal for our time together (like fixing a specific act or prepping for a fellowship) and 2–3 shows or movies that share the "DNA" or tone of your project. If your chosen service includes prep work, don’t forget to attach your script or pages as a PDF. Once I’ve reviewed your details, I’ll follow up with a booking link and an invoice so we can get to work making your script undeniable!
And just to make it easier, just include in your email any (or none) of this stuff that you already know, and anything else you think might be helpful. We’ll get there.
The Fine Print (Terms of Service)
Turnaround Time: For services involving reading (Full Consultations and Focus Sessions), my typical turnaround time for notes is 5–7 business days from the receipt of both payment and your script/materials.
Scheduling & Cancellations: Once we’ve booked a live session, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
Refunds: Because these services are based on time and creative labor, refunds are not available once I have begun reading your materials or once a live session has been completed.
Privacy & IP: Your script is your property. I maintain strict confidentiality regarding all projects and will never share your work or concepts with third parties without your express written consent.
Scope of Service: While I am here to help you make your script professional and competitive, these consultations are for creative development only. Booking a session does not guarantee representation, a script sale, or industry placement.
One more thing:
If you’re thinking about the Pilot Development Lab, I’m happy to set up a brief 10-minute discovery call to make sure we’re a good creative match before you commit to the full process."
