Work With Me
You’re thinking about writing a TV pilot, or you’ve already started. You’re not sure where to begin, but you have lots and lots of ideas. And some of them are definitely great! But some you’re not sure about. Or maybe you ARE sure, but you’re not sure you’re sure.
Sure. You just want a completed script.
I can help you get there. Whether you’re staring at a blank page, figuring out a big act break, or polishing a draft for a fellowship, I’m here to help you find the best version of your story.
With over two decades of industry experience, I focus on world-building, character depth, the specific mechanics of comedy and craft, and story story story. Let’s get your project ready to be read by people who can help you (whoever they may be!).
Here’s a list of the services I offer. If you need help figuring out whether any of this is right for your specific situation, email me, and I’ll give you an honest answer.
The Open Mic (No Prep) — $199 - One Session
The Goods: An hour of high-level strategy and creative problem-solving. No reading required—just 60 minutes of my undivided attention to help you navigate the "business" or the "breakthrough." We can troubleshoot a story block, refine a logline, or map out your career strategy using my 20+ years of industry experience.
The Session: A 60-minute live video consultation that goes wherever you want..
(Choose this if: You need a professional "gut check" on a new concept, you’re stuck on a plot point, or you need advice on navigating the industry)
The Focus Session (With Prep) — $299- One Session
The Goods: Together, we’ll dig into your opening pages or outline. Send up to 10 pages (script, treatment, or outline) in advance. I’ll do the homework so we can hit the ground running, spending the hour deconstructing your specific tone, structure, and character mechanics.
The Session: A 60-minute live video consultation to discuss my notes.
Turnaround: 5–7 days.
(Choose this if: You want to ensure your "First 10" are bulletproof, you need a structural review of an outline before you go to draft, or you’re polishing a sample for a fellowship).
The Full Script Analysis- $699- One Session
The Goods: Comprehensive written notes covering world-building, characters, story structure, joke density, tone, and overall concept.
The Session: A 90- to 120-minute live video consultation to discuss my notes and brainstorm solutions.
Turnaround: 5–7 days.
(Choose this if: you have a script you think might be ready to go, but you want one last look from an expert before you start sending it out.)
P.S. Loved our session and finished your rewrite? Clients who have done a Full Consultation get 20% off a follow-up read of the new draft.
The Pilot Development Lab - $1300 - Five Sessions
The Goods: Think of me as your Creative Producer. We will build your pilot (or spec!) from the ground up—nailing down the world, tone, character dynamics, and story. Then, once you’ve written the first draft, we’ll polish it to a shine.
The Sessions: Four one-hour one-on-one live video consultations (concept/theme/logline. world /character/tone, story structure, outline to draft). Then, after I read your draft, another 90-minute live video consultation to discuss my notes and brainstorm solutions.
Turnaround: 5–7 days.
(Choose this if: you’re writing an original pilot (or even a spec script for fellowships and contests- some still want specs!)
N.B. For the Development Lab, I’m happy to set up a brief 10-minute discovery call first to make sure we’re a good creative match before you commit to the full process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this for?
I work with everyone from first-timers to seasoned pros who need a fresh set of eyes (everybody needs fresh eyes!). Whether you’re writing a half-hour comedy, a gritty hour-long drama, or a spec for a fellowship, my goal is to help you sharpen your unique voice, not replace it with mine.
What exactly do I get in the "Written Notes"?
This isn’t just “coverage,” where you end up with a “Pass/Consider.” I’m a writer too, and I love getting into it. You’ll get a deep dive into the mechanics of your script. This includes "Macro" notes (concept, pacing, and structure) and "Micro" notes (dialogue tweaks, joke punch-ups, and character beats).
Do you sign NDAs?
Absolutely. Your intellectual property is yours. While the industry standard is that "ideas" are often similar, your specific execution is your own. I don’t think it’s particularly necessary, but if you have a standard NDA you’d like me to sign before sending your script, I’m happy to review it.
Is the "Pilot Development Lab" only for comedies?
Not at all. While my background is rooted in comedy and character-driven stories, the rules of "good story" are universal. We will focus on the foundational elements: the "Why now?", the engine of the show, and the stakes that keep an audience coming back.
Can you help me get an agent or manager?
I am a creative consultant, not a manager or an agent. I cannot guarantee representation or "shop" your script to my contacts. However, I can help you get your script to a level of professional polish that makes agents and managers much more likely to take you seriously.
What happens if I need more time during our call?
I try to be generous with my time, but to stay fair to all my clients, we stick to the scheduled window. If we’re mid-breakthrough and you want to keep going, we can always schedule a follow-up "Jam Session" at the discounted no-prep rate.
What software do you use for transcripts and outlines?
I use AI-assisted tools to provide you with a full transcript and a summarized outline of our session. This allows you to stay fully present and creative during our talk instead of scribbling notes the whole time. You’ll have a searchable record of every "Aha!" moment we had. ANd you’ll wnat it, because there will be lots…
Ready to get to work?
Send me an email that lets me know which service you’re interested in ( The Open Mic, The Surgical Strike, The Full Script Analysis, The Pilot Development Lab). Let me know where you are in the process (finished draft that needs an expert eye, outline/treatment but stuck, a few pages and lots of idea, starting from scratch…). Give me 2 or 3 sentences about your goal for this consultation (break a story, make it funnier, fix my act break, enter a competition…). ANd finally, upload and send your file (if applicable)) as a PDF. If you feel like it, send me two or three shows or movies that share your project’s DNA’s.
